Terms and Conditions

In order to view this website (Meds Explained for the Masses; heretofore referred as "ME4TM") and all pages herein, you must understand and comply with the following terms of service:

  • There is very little clinical information given here. A vast majority of this site will discuss the basic biology of drugs that affect the nervous system and not much else. I am not a doctor, nor do I have any clinical training... I'm just a former molecular biologist with some brain damage from a recent infection (the damage explains why I'm a FORMER biologist...). So instead of coming up with and doing research, I'm just stuck explaining it... Pretty much my biggest qualification for writing up anything on here is that I once slept at a Holiday Inn Express (TM).***
  • Did I mention I'm not a doctor? Don't follow any clinical-type notes you see here until you have a thorough consultation with your doctor about it. I BEAR NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY HARM THAT OCCURS, DIRECT OR INDIRECT, DUE TO THIS SITE. This site is here so that you can understand the basic science of medications and exercise your right to know how they do what they do. However, you need to fully exercise your potential of wellness and health by also seeing your healthcare provider!
  • Language/appropriateness: ME4TM contains occasional frank and scientific discussions about the sexual effects of medications. I've also got my mind in the gutter most of the time. Hell, one of my nicknames is "gutterboy". So, to view this site, you should not be offended by frank sexual discussions, and furthermore, you should not take umbrage at me giggling at the acronym for the peripheral nervous system ("PNS", hehehehehehe I said PNS).
  • Copyright and plagiarization: All content here is the sole copyright of Meds Explained for the Masses. Any quoting or direct paraphrasing MUST be credited to "Meds Explained for the Masses". Images are all copyrighted and may not be used without my permission.
  • And last but not least, pulling on the emergency rooster is only allowed in the event of a true emergency.
  • I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ANY PART OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (T&C) AT ANY TIME.

***I actually did once sleep at a Holiday Inn Express, in Ogden, Utah, in 2001.
